Jesús (Jesús) Oh…
This is ARCSite.org Doctrinal Faith and “what we believe” Information page.
ARCSite.org and the Apostolic Revival Church (ARC) of Philadelphia believe in only One God: Jesus and Acts 2:38 KJV as the basic requirement for receiving the Holy Ghost and Salvation from Jesus – not man. Only Jesus can give anyone the Holy Spirit and ultimately save anyone.
How to be saved by Jesus…
This page will has information for everyone who believe in the Jesus and the Bible. The information will tell everyone about “how to be saved” and become a Christian according to the Bible information as preached, taught and practiced by the Apostles in the Book of Acts, the New Testament and the Bible itself.
(1 ) To be saved, Jesus said: “…Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” John 3:5 King James Version (KJV). Therefore, we all need to be “born again” by water baptism and receive the Spirit as part of the new birth from Jesus – no man (or woman) can give us the Spirit – only Jesus can. “Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his” Romans 8:9 King James Version (KJV).
(2) The Bible says “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” Matthew 28:19 King James Version (KJV). The name in that passage is Jesus – Father, Son and Holy Ghost are not names but titles. And no one in the entire Bible (i.e. New Testament) was ever baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost – there is no evidence in the Bible.
However, the Bible also tells us that…
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
(Acts 2:37-42 King James Version (KJV).
Therefore, to be born of the water, we all need to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ (by immersion in water) “…for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” The gift of the Holy Ghost is the Spirit from Jesus (not man or woman) as mentioned in John 3:5 King James Version (KJV) by Jesus.
(3) The Bible also says…
At Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version (KJV) “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever” 1 John 2:15-17 King James Version (KJV).
“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy” 1 Peter 1:15-16 King James Version (KJV).
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord’ Hebrews 12:14 King James Version (KJV).
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” Matthew 24:13-14 King James Version (KJV).
We are to live holy all the days of our Christian lives and until we die to make it to Heaven. And we are not to love the World but stay away from the sin/evil in the World but help others to be saved from the World.
