Jesús (Jesús) Oh…
This is the about ARCSite.org and the local Church – Apostolic Revival Church (ARC) of Philadelphia information page.
This is a Pentecostal Apostolic (Acts 2:38 KJV) Christian Evangelism Site – Apostolic Revival Church Site (ARCSite.org) from Philadelphia PA, in the United States. This Site is affiliated with the local Philadelphia Christian Church (Apostolic Revival Church) with John A. Edwards as the Pastor, and with the United Pentecostal Church International (upci.org) online. The Site Administrator is Mike Taylor.
In addition, this Site is a Missions and Outreach Evangelism Site to inform, share and preserve the Salvation Gospel of Christ (death, burial and resurrection) with everyone worldwide so they can receive the Holy Ghost via Salvation from Jesus. From our Faith (i.e. what we believe) our local Church Events and online Information, we will also inform everyone who believes in God: Jesus about the Apostolic Doctrine from the Word of God according to the Holy Bible.
We hope to help others receive Salvation, guidance and help in their belief in God – all the days of their lives.

Church History and ARC Community
The Apostolic Revival Church (ARC) of Philadelphia is located in North Philadelphia in the State of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. The Church serves the communities of Kensington, Torresdale, Frankford and others within or near the church location – 3700 Kensington Avenue, PA 19124 (corner of M Street and Kensington Avenue).
ARC started over 10 years ago as a vision of Pastor John Edwards to evangelize and help the community (Kensington) where he was born and raised by his Pentecostal Apostolic Family (especially his mother). The Church is steadily growing by the mercy and provisions of God despite the many diverse challenges (personal and otherwise) Pastor Edwards encountered over the years. Philadelphia is not any easy place to evangelize when there are so many issues to overcome. But with faith, courage, determination and a few good “Saints of God” the Apostolic Revival Church (ARC) is doing God’s work to fulfill the “great Commission” (Matthew 28:18-20 KJV and obeyed at Acts 2:38 KJV) to help to those who God will call to Salvation from Jesus – in Jesus Name. This is from the original Pentecostal experience.
What is Pentecost from a Pentecostal Apostolic UPCI perspective?
Pentecost started in Jerusalem fifty days after the celebration of the Passover that celebrated Israel’s deliverance out of Egypt. That day was selected by God to start the fulfillment of Joel 2:28 prophesy that says “I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh…”
The Holy Ghost came upon the waiting and praying disciples as we can read at Acts 2:1-4 KJV. In addition, the Holy Ghost (Spirit-filled) early church witnessed many miraculous things (Acts 3:1-7 and 4:31 KJV). And from then (the day of Pentecost) the Jesus Believers who received the Holy Spirit lived their lives in victory over sin and the enemy of their souls (the devil/satan). Their Holy Ghost Pentecostal experience made all the difference – and still does today for real genuine Believers through Faith in God.
Pentecost is not a denomination like so many “Christian Denominations” today. It is a new birth experience. It is the original Christianity experience. And it is still relevant and available in today’s modern world. People referred to as “Pentecostals” believe, teach, and receive all that transpired on that birthday of the true Church of the living God…Pentecost, 33 A.D. And Pentecostals still believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4 KJV). He is the creator of Heaven and Earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), in the son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). The idea or contemporary denominational belief that there are three (3) gods in one, is not Biblical. God is One true God – always has been and will be. “Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God” Isaiah 44:6 KJV.
